Chris and Laurie are both recently retired Science Teachers from Maine, Texas, and North Carolina. We met while working in the education branch at NASA, Johnson Space Center, in Houston Texas. After a five month whirl wind romance, we married and quickly decided to find that "Goldilocks" location. That's when we found the Blue Ridge Mountains and now live in the beautiful four seasons of western North Carolina.

Every day is a great day in the Blue Ridge Mountains. We now enjoy summer kayaking and hiking, driving along brilliant fall colored mountain roads, snowshoeing on winter trails and watching nature re-awaken in spring.
